Welcome! This is the first ever post for What’cha Workin’ On? Weekend. It is my hope that some of you will join in the fun with me and let everyone know what you’re writing at the moment.
I’ll be posting a new WWOW on the 2nd and 4th weekends of every month, but since the idea just came to me last weekend, I’m starting now and will post once again next weekend. If you wish to ‘play along’ with me you’ll have all weekend to do so, but you’re welcome to participate at any time. For those who join the fun, here are a few things to keep in mind:

I’ve pointed to this blog in one of my previous posts, and one of the things I like most about her site is that she does what she calls WIP Wednesday on the first Wednesday of every month. (In case you didn’t know, WIP stands for Work In Progress.) 🙂
From time to time, I’ve even participated in these and found them rather fun. I’d also thought many times that I’d like to do something similar here, but I didn’t want to steal her thunder, either. It took a lot of thinking and wracking of my brain, but I believe I’ve come up with an idea that could work. 🙂

Several months ago I wrote about this Great New Writing Software called Dabble. Today, I wanted to take a moment to let you know three things.
1.) I’m still In L-O-V-E with this sweet little story writing program. But it’s not limited to just stories. You can do any kind of writing with it. Full-out novels, essays, fiction, non-fiction, articles and yes, even blog posts. That’s right! You don’t have to be participating in National Novel Writing Month (or NaNoWriMo, as we call it) to use this software. 🙂

Has this ever happened to you? You get so angry or upset you just want to scream, yell, and jump up and down. Yeah, I thought so. Sometimes we need to let off a bit of steam, no matter what caused our teapot to boil over.
I have a younger sibling who lives with me, and I’ll be nice by saying he isn’t the easiest person to live with. True, I’m a bit of a stickler on many things, but all-in-all, I am very easy to get along with.
On the other hand, my brother is one of those who thinks he’s always right, he’s the only one who knows anything, and therefore should be in control of everything. Do you know someone like that? I’m willing to bet you do.

There are a few blogs I like to visit from time to time, and I recently came upon this post on one of my favorite sites. Basically, it deals with whether a writer should or should not quit doing what they Love to do.
Sure, there are many good reasons for why one should, but there are also many reasons why one should not. I can think of many reasons I could go over to the ‘I should quit’ side, but let me tell you why I feel I belong in the ‘I should not quit’ camp.

Okay, so I’ve been moving my blog (post-by post) from another site to this one. It’s my hope that I’ll be a bit more visible here. Thankfully, this is the last post to be moved. 🙂
I’ve been looking for a way to self-publish my stories without having to do All the work myself. Call me lazy if you will, but I honestly don’t have the time it takes to do everything on my own. Then I remembered something I’d seen on the NaNoWriMo site.

I’ve recently discovered some Brand New software for writing stories and novels, and I’m so excited to have found it that I want to let Everyone know about it!
Full Disclosure Statement: I am not being paid in any way to promote this product. I am simply an enthusiastic writer who L-O-V-E-S using it.

This is where I’ll be posting updates on my writing, available books, plus any and everything else that may be pertinent. 🙂
It is my hope to post something here at least once a week (will try for a weekday), so we’ll see how that works out for me.
